We have been returning guests to Southern Burgenland for years, where we immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of the Weinidylle Wine Festival almost every spring. For us, it is no longer just a festival, but a pleasant ritual, where the perfect harmony of wine and nature awaits us.
The Weinidylle Festival is one of the most attractive events in the Southern Burgenland wine region. The festival usually brings together several villages, such as Eberau, Heiligenbrunn or Moschendorf, where winemakers open their cellars at the same time. We also know some of the winemakers, because it is because of their wines that this festival has become an unmissable point in the spring calendar.
One of the greatest virtues of the event is organization and convenience. There is a free bus service between the villages, so you can taste the delicious wines responsibly without a car. The real experience, however, is the walk, wandering from cellar to cellar through the gentle hills of the wine region, in the beautiful landscape, accompanied by a glass of excellent Blaufränkisch or Zweigelt, is unsurpassed. We return here year after year for the wines, the beautiful landscape and the Burgenland hospitality.
