Batangas Province is a popular destination on the island of Luzon in the Philippines, especially because easy to travel there form the busy Manila. The province’s coastline offers a number of beautiful beaches, diving spots, and idyllic beach resorts. It’s the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the capital for a quick tropical getaway.
Leaving Manila behind at the start of our weekend getaway, we arrived at the picturesque coast of Batangas, where we stayed at a lovely beachside lodge right on the sandy shore. The first night, the fresh sea air and the sound of the waves brought peace after the stressful days of the city.
Saturday was all about exploring the sea. We went on an island hopping tour to the islands and bays off the coast to discover the hidden natural treasures of the area.
Returning to our accommodation, we sat on the beach, where cheerful groups of local children were playing on the hot sand and running carefreely after the receding waves. This bustling but peaceful evening atmosphere was the perfect end to a day in this paradise.
